Hi. I'm Amanda Spann When I started building apps, I was a solo entrepreneur with no technical knowledge. I lost thousands of dollars, wasted countless hours, and fell victim to bad advice. It made me realize how many underserved entrepreneurs face the same challenges due to a lack of support and resources. For these communities, mistakes in tech are especially costly.

One day, I received a letter from an inmate who dreamed of building an app. That moment made me reflect on how access to the right tools could change lives. I realized talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. This inspired me to create The App Accelerator, a program designed to help first-time, non-technical founders turn ideas into scalable ventures.

With 17 years of entrepreneurial experience, I’ve built this program to fill the knowledge gaps that hold talented founders back.
